Carbohydrates provide energy to fuel the body.They are broken down into glucose so when carbohydrates are consumed ,an increase in blood sugar level occurs .
By reducing Carbohydrate intake,one can reduce the rise in blood sugar level after meals.
Nuts are low in carbs. And have good fat ,which helps to burn bad fat.
So when we consume low carbs .it means ,less glucose,thus less insulin and one knows insulin converts extra glucose into fat.
So by eating low carbohydrate diet one can avoid the consequences.
